Baby Boy - GQE

Awesome news first: Derek William Baldwin was born September 13th at around 10 pm. I belive he was born in Vincent's Hospital. Everyone wants to see the baby!

Now, today's nooz.
Audrey, Angela, Kaleem and I were going to go to Denny's today instead of being at school just because we are seniors and didn't have to take the GQE. So, we walk out of Moon Hall after putting our bookbags in the "Senior Cabinet" with our IDs on. Soon after we round the corner of the Auditorium we see an adult walking towards, what seemed like, Stuart. We freaked a little and slowed down. So then we start walking to the Student Parking Lot on Oriental and we see something "flesh-like" on the window of the small guard house. And we freak a little too. We walk by and we see that it was just a piece of wood; great.
So we finally get to the Audrey's car and we all get in. Then, we see a golf cart coming towards the student parking lot from Tech. We, of course, again, freak out a little. But then we saw it was just a custodian and he stopped at the "entrance" of the parking lot; the one facing Oriental.
So we decide to just drive by him, but then, two more golf carts come in from the same way with cops on them! We are still in the car though! And we freak out a lot! I know I did. I was the first one, and probably the only one, who ducked. We were so nervous and Audrey and I agreed that we didn't want to get in trouble or get detention. But thanks to peer pressure, and Kaleem and Angela, Audrey started the car and decided we were going to exit through the "back gate" and, of course, it was locked.
So she just pulls up in front of the Tennis courts and we wait there a little. Then we start debating on whether we should just wait inside the car until they left or just go back to school. Then the cops start heading our way and we decide to get out of the car. As they approach, they stop to pick up a rolling tennis ball, and then they notice us.
"Ya'll just getting here?" One of the cops asked.
"Yes" was everyone's immediate response. At the point we, or at least Audrey and I, thanked God for not getting in trouble.
The most exciting 15 minutes of my life! For serious.

So we tell Ms. Brown, Ms. H and Mr. Baldwin. They all had a good laugh and Ms. Brown took us to Subway.
And then the rest on was just nothing.

Journalism is getting better. And I am really trying to show Ms. Jesse that she didn't choose the wrong person to be the Senior Editor of The Cannon.
Band is just awesome, and tomorrow I am definitely taking my water jug.
