It's Been A While...

It's almost been a week since I last updated!

But today was fun! With the Technician Valentine's Party I was too happy I couldn't cry for it being my last one. ^^ No worries. It's a happy moment. I won't cry.
But it really was fun. People were crazy. I guess you could refer to the Facebook photos that will soon be up.

Lots of candy and cute little notes were passed out and enjoyed by all. Unfortunately, I have been slacking so I couldn't really make my usual V-Day cards. The ones with the heart that pops out? Yeah. Those. Awww. I know. So instead I'm making everyone cute little notes. At least I think they're cute.
I had another idea but it required a procedure which I wasn't very sure of so I'm saving that for next year. That means that an underclassman will have to put my valentines in the other Technicians' bags. Cute, huh?

Oh. This week the Key Club also sold teddy bears for V-Day as a fundraiser. We pretty much made over $300. That is amazing! I wish Ms. Jesse would've bought V-Day items on sale last year to sell this year. . .

Today I was awarded a total of 400 extra credit points in my English class.

200- For The Cannon being awesome this month
200- For explaining the origin of Friday 13th

Go me! That means I can slack off a bit in that class now! Weee!

Erick Made A Bowl!

I made a bowl yesterday in Ceramics! It looks pretty good if I do say so myself!

The teacher, Mr. Halvorson, asked if I had used the wheel before. I guess he thought I was too good for it to have been my first time? I decay.

I really can't remember much about yesterday but I know I got a 10/10 on my Japanese test! Sensei always points out that I'm usually the only one who is always the high score. It bothers me a little...

Also! Yesterday was Lerron's and my first day testing for Piano! It was okay I guess! I did okay! And I think he did pretty good too! He just needs to catch up! Imma buy him a little keyboard so he can go home and practice everyday! Hahaha. Maybe not (me buying the piano).

Yesterday I was also supposed to get my haircut but I couldn't so I got it this morning. It's nice now! And I feel like I lost 3 lbs! Hahaha. And from then, I had to work! My manager complimented my haircut, said it looked nice! ^^
And I got to work with my friend Kayla Smith! She goes to Tech! And she's the one who convinced me to go back to that McDonald's. Otherwise I would've gone to the one on 10th Street, which I still think is much better for weekends because of all the cute people in the concert -cough-

And my boss still calls me Rick. I don't really care much now, haha. And Lerron calls me Ricky. But that's cuter and he came up with it first! I'm thinking of changing my name on Facebook to Ricky Gama! Haha. Maybe not!

Oooh! Wanna know what I had in my stomach yesterday? I couple of grapes and a thing of chocolate milk and then a chicken wing and a drumstick. Yum, huh? That was all day! And I survived! Today I had a salad. And a chicken wing and some eggs. So far still here!

OH! Yesterday was Guard too! I loved it! I stayed a bit after with Audrey and she brought me home. I loves me Audrey!

I think that's it for today. We have people over because we're celebrating my dad's ?th birthday! He's happy. And a bit drunk >.> But oh well.

Erick Feels Nasty & Gross

It's the hair. It's too long. I like my bangs. But I might just trim them or have them halfway cut. That way they can curl a bit and look cute-ish.

Today I had to take my contacts out during school because my eyes were super red and they were burning. There was no other option. So I went ahead and did it in the room, in my seat. It freaked some people out but after a minute my eyes were feeling sooo much better! Too bad I couldn't really see! ^^ Oh well.
And I couldn't see people very well either...

Today was our (last) first musical meeting. There were a lot of people there and some of them I don't like. I'm sorry. But I don't.
The magic number is 20. That's pretty scary. And daring. And sad T.T

I sat next to Johnny for the whole thing. And why am I just realizing that he is very funny? Haha. Of course I knew that but he is just sooo silly and laughs at my faces. I love him.

I had to work today. From 6 to 9. It wasn't that bad but I was put in Drive-Thru. Receiving orders. With this cold-ass weather. Sheesh. But oh well.
I managed to make $685 in the three hours I was there.

I had a meatless Big Mac with salty fries and a medium Sprite. I need to stop eating there and say I do. That way I can lose more weight. Or just eat salads without chicken. But chicken is good, health-wise.

Have I mentioned I need a haircut? ^^

Oh! And tomorrow will be my first day on the wheel! In Ceramics! I'm excited! I get to make a bowl! Hopefully it'll be chubby and cute. Heehee.

Erick Needs A Haircut

Badly.

I work tomorrow though, so it might be until Friday. I only work three hours, but I'm not complaining. I need money.

Today people stayed after school for a Guard meeting. I am really very excited! I am going to ask McDonald's if I can get Wednesdays and Fridays off just so I can stay after longer to spin flags! Nevermind the fact that we pretty much only have about a month to learn what we are doing for Arts On The Green. And Lora, I think that's how her name is spelled, our Guard instructor, promised us real poles by Friday! That means real spinning! Hurray and Hallelujah! ^^

I'm excited.

Something I'm not very excited about though is getting scholarships and money to go to IU. I really don't know. I hope I can keep up with everything and manage to get money. I'm actually now thinking of a loan. Something I don't really want.

And IU contacted me today about my $500 scholarship thanks to an article I wrote during the High School Journalism Institute Summer Workshop. The money wasn't really for the article but my counselor recommended me for the scholarship. She loved me! And she's in Indy now so getting together for a night won't be too difficult. And I didn't mean it in a nasty way either o.o

Now. I need more pictures for my yearbook section. Like a lot. I still haven't gotten the Top Students of each academy. And I need to schedule dates for music group photos...

Erick Feels He Has Neglected His Blog...

Guess what? I'm using my desktop! That's right! The computer that we had to pay twice for it to be repaired. The first time was because it just would not turn on anymore and the second time because, after having properly installed a very good Anti-Virus, my computer kept freezing. That was another $40. Whatever. So now my parents told me not to install the Anti-Virus but to leave it alone.
That's kind of dangerous though, considering some of the few things I do online -cough-

But anyway.

I cut my big fat toe last night. T.T I know! And it does hurt a little still. I put a band-aid over it so the sock wouldn't hurt me much. Meh. I haven't looked at it since last night...

Many things have happened. Some I can't really talk about. Some I could but they're too much.

One thing I know for sure: I already saw myself during Techoir Overnight. Take it any way you want.
