Layout- Noo

I got a new layout and I think it's pretty awesome.
I've been meaning to write more but I haven't really found the time to actually do it. I really have so much to talk about that typing it all out at once seems kind of impossible to me.
Well, right now I am involved, again, in SMOGEE; Students as Mentors and Owners of Geoscience and Environmental Education. This is a really neat group where teachers and students get together and teach 7th graders about climate change and global warming.
This is really important to me because it means that we, as students, can put our ideas out there and there are people who will listen and probably make them happen.
One of the things we do while in this workshop is to view related careers such as Geology and Climatology. There are so many cool careers out there that I am really confused about what I want to do in life.
Most of us in the group are seniors. Only two juniors. I love us. We are awesome.

As a member of The Cannon, Tech High School's student newspaper, I see this as an opportunity to let other students know about these things that are really happening. It may not be exciting, but it is something that will affect us and our children in the future.

Please recycle. And carpool.
