Okay, so Friday I spent almost the entire day trying to make up and finish a story about someone selling their soul to the devil. Mine isn't that great, but I guess with a bit more work it could at least be something. Too bad I already turned it in for credit.
My teacher didn't want some big story so that limited how much I wrote. It was only two pages long and didn't have much detail. Except on how the protagonist died a, ummm, horrible death.
Today I spent the rest of the day writing my Illegal Immigration story. I thank the lord that I had previously interviewed people and only needed to put everything together. Now I am thinking of adding more stuff. I think it's okay, overall. It could be better. But then again, I thought it was due Wednesday, not today. Oh well. I had enough time to make another sudoku and its answer to turn in as well. I also have an ACT/SAT story going on the paper. That would be three contributions! Go Editor-in-Chief! Hehehe.
I asked to go to the media center today during Journalism because I get easily distracted by friends. They are just so funny and hard to ignore. My home computer also distracts me because of certain websites -cough- and Facebook. Blogger not so much because I try to do that last.
I learn better with worksheets. I found that out today when Ms. Frank handed out yet another questionnaire for another section in our book. I like them.
She also gave me tomorrow's work since I won't be there. She got upset when I told her I wasn't going to be there either. Eff her. As if she were a teacher in a classroom, make me laugh.
I went to that Navy meeting for a scholarship in the media center. It was okay. Worth a lot of money too! Too bad I can't apply...
Peer Tutorness- I'm starting to hate helping random hispanic kids. They just don't want to do anything and I really can't translate the entire textbook for them everytime the teacher gives out a worksheet. Oh well. I gots hugs from peoples. Yay. Summer was there too! Yay
Music was kind of fun. I hate it when people watch me when I'm singing though because it makes me laugh and crack while I sing. Singing is fun though.
Jose tried to play with me and took my 50 pesos. So Isaac took his candy and gave it to me and we exchanged goods. ^o^
I gots Audrey-hugs-and-kisses. Yay.
April and I practiced lines, once, during lunch. Yay
April and I both got 9.5 on our Japanese test! This one was kind of hard. And I only missed some questions about culture because I hadn't been there when they studied that. Oh well. No biggie.
I reviewed a lesson today. Hopefully I'll do better next time and on finals.
We are still doing work in Env. Science. It's cool, but it's too much. Oh well.
Time for bed now! Getting ready for the shows tomorrow! I'm going to put vaseline in my teeth so I can have more chances of keeping the show pin! Haha

Changes
I need a new layout for my blog.
Right now I am stuck doing the homework I've been putting off since the beginning of the semester. Mainly in my English class. Now it is all due Monday. I really need to hurry.
Oh. Last night I had worked on two book reports also for my English class. I got to school today and looked for them. Nowhere to be found! I came home and they were neatly folded underneath a book. It really pissed me off because I even wrote super small to fit all I had to say about the book. Grrr. I told my teacher about forgetting my papers and he said I was trustworthy and reliable so he let me have it my way and turn them in Monday. That will probably give me time to re-read A Lesson Before Dying and writing a book report on that as well for extra credit.
It's been done. I will be auctioned off for a fundraiser. I hope someone buys me so I don't look like a lame loser that no one wants to be with. The other two boys participating have expressed their concern about same-sex bidders. I really wouldn't mind, unless . . . yeah.
At first I wasn't going to do it but Ms. Jesse said I should. I hope I do get some money, ehl-oh-ehl. Actually, I hope Huggins lets us do this. Because it's an awesome idea and a great fundraiser. If we have more sexy people it would be so much better.
"Heeey!"
Oooh! Today during fourth period I got to somehow flirt around. My friend Summer wasn't there so Josh went and did me company and showed me his new electronic device. It's some iTouch thing. Really cool though. We played little games and I beat him on one. I think it was something to do with memory. And then! Ooohness! Andres came up behind me and was looking over me. You know what I mean? Like me sitting down and he leaning over/behind me with his head like right on top of mine. I felt special, ehl-oh-ehl. I really don't think he's gay at all, but it'd be nice.
Music was okay. Somehow Ms. H's speech on Improper Moments To Cry seemed to have been directed at me. She even fixated a look on me while she said to not cry. She stared for like an entire minute! Even people noticed and they started laughing. Some were asking me not to cry right there. I didn't.
I had chicken nuggets today for lunch.
Japanese was cool. We had a cute substitute in there. He was young so that helped. I didn't want to bother him so I didn't even ask him his name. We did watch a cool movie though. Not Grave of the Fireflies because that would have been embarrassing and awful. For some of us. Or most of us.
SMOGEE. Since we are done teaching 7th graders we are going back to book work. I brought mine hope so I could hopefully finish it (ha!) during the weekend. Along with all my English and Journalism work due!
Turns out we also have a final for that class. It's not necessary. But Environmental Science is fun and very interesting.
Techoir after school! I had some free time and tried to play J.S.Bach's Prelude with April doing the flute solo but it turns out I was playing something different. I've been told to play what I know and that it should still be fine. I hope so.
Rehearsal was kind of fun. Silly jokes and silly people are awesome.
Angel pays a lot of attention to body odor, I think. Or maybe to the really bad ones. I should start bathing in cologne from now on, hehe.

You of I
I missed a call from the University of Indianapolis. I excitedly listened to the voicemail they kindly left behind. Guess what? I GOT ACCEPTED! EFFING ACCEPTED INTO U OF I!
Okay. But yeah, I got accepted. And on top of that, I obtained three scholarships (3!!!). The lady in the voicemail told me they would be sending out my letter of acceptance in about seven days. I was so excited! I got this at the end of the day so that pretty much made my day and made me happy for the Yearbook meeting. I was congratulated by the rest of the Yearbook staff and my teacher. They are the only ones who know, and know you too. Keep this a secret: I want to announce it with my letter in my hand!
Yearbook meetings are going pretty well. Much better then Newspaper ones. I think we need all reporters to show up not just the editors because the editors only work on their stories, at least I do. I should say something about it.
I missed almost the entire school day because of the SMOGEE trip. I skipped out on one presentation and only did one. The students were being crazy and funny so I started doing the same, in a good way. Making serious faces at them and then laughing and saying I was only jay kaying. They loved me and paid attention. It was productive, kind of.
Sucky lunches. Grrr. Jail leftovers.
Got to school back in time to take a dunk haha. Really though!
I also have two book reports that were due yesterday. I think. Or the day before. The point is I missed it because I was doing a show. I finally got the papers and did them for homework. I gave up on one of them though, but it's fine. Hopefully I can re-read the book and finish it. It's only 256 pages.

Still Working
At this moment I find myself still doing work for yearbook and journalism. I don't blame anyone else but me though; I keep putting stuff off. My usual problem.
Today Mid-Terms were handed out during first period. I had all As and a B in U.S. History. That's not my real updated progress though; Ms. Frank didn't realize grades were due so she just gave us the ones she had previously recorded. Lame. Liar. Loser. LaVitch.
I realized that one of the girls under my yearbook section had an F in Journalism. I am partly taking the blame on that because, being the Academics Editor, I haven't given out real assignments.
Speaking of being Editors. I am the Editor-in-Chief of The Cannon, and I truly believe I am not doing as great a job as I could be doing. But then again, there was no Editor-in-Chief last year so I really don't know what to do or what to follow. I know one of my duties is to make sure all staff writers have their stories, but seeming that I am only in one Journalism class I don't ever see or know the other ones. I think that next semester I will take both classes to make a bigger impact and participate in yearbook meetings.
If I auctioned myself, would you bid and strive to get me? I ask this because I want to take part in the fundraiser for The Cannon newspaper and yearbook. And I don't want to do it if no one will even try to get me and just make a fool of myself. That is one of the things Ms. Jesse is afraid of: Feelings being hurt.
Oh yes, of course, U.S. History. Ms. Frank spent half the period looking for our Chapter 9 tests. She seems to have misplaced/lost them. Her usual self on crack, I guess. I really want to make it my job to get her fired. But that is evil and it contradicts my philosophies in life.
Oooh! Remember the new cute boy I've been talking about in my English class? Well, he and I were the only ones done with a small project. I felt special somehow. As if by accomplishing this I will gain his friendship, trust, and love. It's a small step towards the long road of hope leading to the City of Dreams.
I was really busy today during fourth period. I didn't realize until later that I had barely spoken with Summer at all.
It was mainly due to the teacher not being here and me having to help the ENL students since no passes were allowed to go and get help. I was moving around the room from end to end translating and showing where the answers were located in a passage. Then the bell rang. Time went by fast for me.
Even non-ENL students call me George/Jorge now. I love Andres. He is silly. I told him his name was my first name and he said that he was going to change it then.
I let him have the Sports section of my Indy Star and I explained to him why I didn't read that section.
I was surprised to see Tech alumni during Music App today. I thought it was only going to be Chordially Invited. But there were more! I definitely wasn't expecting to see Amber and Claire! They are awesome people. Austin was looking good too.
I guess Ms. Brown wanted to show us off by having us sing most of our songs. This was really bad for the basses (only Angel and me up there!). It didn't help that the guests were attentively listening for later critique amongst each other, as usual. We handled it, though. And later, Lerron showed up and helped too.
Ms. D and Ms. H had some of us on a search for the Christmas trees. Somehow they disappeared. They weren't in the Guitar/Prop Room or the Technician Dressing Room where same-sex members go in and dress for shows at the same time. Ms. H really wanted to locate these two trees to adorn them for Christmas. I hope she found them. I found the small one that they always put by the window on top of the piano in the music office.
Lunch. Yay. Japanese. Yay-er.
SMOGEE. Free day! No IUPUI people showed up and Ms. Solchik wasn't there. Since we are a special class, no assignments were . . . assigned. We talked the whole period and some of us (me) read. Or at least tried to.
Right now we are getting the house ready for visitors. People are coming over to celebrate Thanksgiving with yummy Mexican food.
And I am still stuck trying to write my Illegal Immigration story and making up assignments for my section staff.

Mukashi Mukashi
Right now I am in the middle of typing out my letter for Japanese. I want it to be funny and cute.
Oh my God! Today I finally got a call from Marilee Updike, she's the ESL Coordinator of IPS. I had been trying to talk to her for an interview forever! Today she finally called! At 4:24 p.m.! I was in the restroom though -.- As soon as I felt the phone vibrate in my pocket I thought it was a text message. But then it kept on vibrating. So I was all "%$@! and *&^&%!" and stuff. So I got up and pulled my pants up. I reached into my packet for my phone and in the process dropped it in the trash bin (ugh! Ewwwies!). Luckily enough, the phone tilted the small trash can and it fell on its side, emptying its nasties. Yeah. Just my luck, huh? So I hurried and told Ms. Updike to wait until I got my pen and steno pad out (hah! I was actually trying to pick up the trash with a tissue while trying to zip and button my pants).
So I hurried down the stairs with my pants falling off of my hips and sat on the couch with my pen and steno pad. The interview took about 22 minutes. It was really interesting and she really wants the Dream Act to be passed.
Today I had an emotional breakdown due to college stress and me not being able to go. I blame myself the most because I haven't been managing my time and I haven't set my priorities straight. I rather be on Facebook or some other websites than typing out essays or even looking for private scholarships.
So I was talking to Dr. Robinson and my counselor about it and they got to the point of asking each other whether they knew of girls that would marry me. It was funny.
My counselor would've married me, ehl-oh-ehl.
The breakdown was after this talk though, right on my way to fourth period. I walked in the class and saw some people I loved and I just started crying. So the teacher took me to a corner and asked me what was wrong. I told her and what not. Other people asked me too. Even Andres! (Woo! I'm going to tell him all about it tomorrow during class) I just really want to stay here. -sigh-
After I had calmed down, I was sent with my friend Summer to put up posters for Toys for Tots out in hallways and in front of offices. I really want Key Club to be awesome this year. I want to be known for having made a difference somewhere, in someone's life. I just want to be remembered.
Oh my gosh! Fifth period was crazy today! Evil seniors cleaned up Ms. D's desk! Everything was gone! Even her file cabinet that is right next to it. Of course she didn't find that out until 7th period. April and I were there. I was recording her every reaction and facial expression. She sounded sad, ehl-oh-ehl. I'll see when I'll put the videos up on Facebook/YouTube for everyone's enjoyment.
Since it was her lunch time, I helped her find a fork through all her stuff that was shoved into the "senior" file cabinet. It was funny.
But let me say something: I hear revenge acomin'! She said so herself. She wouldn't tell me what though. She only said "Wow, they gave me a whole 24 hours to think of something!" And she laughed. This is going to be great!
Today I didn't text my friend Jeffrey as much as I could have. I feel like a bad friend, ehl-ehm-ay-oh.
Angel got a cute monkey from Build-A-Bear for his birthday. I think he's 16 now! I took pictures of him and his cute monkey. He loved it.

Obama Won, Indeed
This is exciting. It means a lot for immigrants. The Dream Act especially for immigrant students who wish to go to college.
So, I think this is like my third day with texting. Did I mention I only had 300 messages? Sent and Received? Well, I think I am almost getting to the limit. That's not good. Especially when I am really trying to talk with Steven and my friends. I told my parents that it's easier to text than having to call.
Today I interview two students for my Illegal Immigration story. One was "this" close to crying. Ms. Jesse said "Oh, that is wonderful" in a good way, of course, meaning that I was getting deep. I also really need to interview Dr. Robinson. She wasn't in her office yesterday though, and today I only had so much time.
I called the University of Indianapolis and they told me that I was, in fact, accepted, and that I should be getting my letter pretty soon. They did tell me to ask the head counselor at Tech whether I am a 21st Century Scholar or not, that way I can get some free money from the university itself. Yay!
I got my Japanese homework for the next chapter, I think it's cute. And I talked to my friend Liz and she said she could burn me some J-Pop for me. Yay for J-Pop.
Noon came along and it was time for me to get on my bus. The problem was I've only been on it like two/three times so remembering the number is really hard. I just got on the first one and asked if they had my stop. They did. And then I saw people I recognized from past bus trips getting on. Score!
OMG Have you guys noticed how gorgeous Enrique Iglesias is? OMG, I wonder if his face hurts for being so hot. Ehl-oh-ehl.
Yay for another super long-ass day tomorrow. I'm going to wear my Aeropostale shirt underneath this time. I know I will have a free hour after band though, so I'm thinking of going to Subway before Journalism/Yearbook to get some food. Or if anyone volunteers to take me anywhere, I don't think I'll pass that up.

Are effing awesome! I got some Saturday night after ice-skating. They are great!
So I stayed up until 12:30 last night talking to Edric on the phone. I wasn't talking very much because I didn't want to get in trouble. I was really sleepy, but after we were done, I stayed up until 2 doing nothing. Thinking. Watching time pass.
I was fine this morning though. My eyes were a little baggy, but just a little.
The Cannon arrived today! I didn't expect it to! It's not as great as the second one was. Oh well. It's something, at least we have a newspaper.
So we spent the period folding them. Eventually, Henry got tired of folding them and gave me his like a minute before the bell rang for second period. Go me: I folded all of them and still had time to put them up.
As I was walking to my second period class, U.S. Effing History, I saw Steven. I don't know, but it seemed like he was waiting for me to catch up to him. He kept looking back too and slowing down. I really didn't want to talk to him because it was too early and I figured Music would have been a better time to do it. So, thankfully, my friend Jessi showed up and I started talking to her. From then on I stopped paying attention to Steven and I just walked to class. I wonder if her was waiting on me or someone else.
We finished Raisin in the Sun today in English. It's a pretty good movie, and I want to read the book now.
Immature children are so annoying. You'd think them being Super-Seniors for the third time would knock some sense into their smallish brains. Not.
I went to my counselor fourth period to have her sign the Counselor part of my IU application. She didn't do it. I don't blame her though; she was real busy and there were more students in her office. She'll do it eventually.
Music was okay. Apparently Angel was in desperate need of me. Yeah, I thought the same thing. Turns out he needed me to sing so he could follow. Dream weaver.
Japanese was okay today. We got some new Kanji and we are making up our own conversation. Yay! I'm writing mine with Liz. She's real good at this Japanese stuff.
Sensei gave us candy and popcorn just because she felt like it. Yay Sensei!
We had IUPUI people over from the SMOGEE program. We talked about what we are doing tomorrow and the following days. What the kids are learning. And how much we hate the teacher there. She drives everyone nuts!
Whatev.
All that time Lerron sat by me. I kept trying to mess with me. I want him to pay more attention to me so he won't fall for Steven. I don't want them to go out, if he's even thinking about it. Ugh.
I stayed after to talk to Mrs. DeWitt. I asked her if the Key Club could stay after tomorrow to clean up the campus for PIT day. She told Mrs. Bogard about this and they were both thrilled of the idea. They asked me what I needed and I said I only needed a "yes." Yes is what they both gave me. They are nice, after a minute though, they both started talking to each other about their problems and I was patiently waiting to be dismissed by either of them. After I was actually about to take part in their conversation, they apologized from keeping me there and told me I could leave. Yesh! I swear Mrs. Bogard is ADD or something.
So after that, I pretty much ran to Ms. Jesse's classroom for a Yearbook meeting. It didn't happen, because or Editor in Chief couldn't stay after. Oh well. I don't think there's anything going on at the moment anyway.
Today was super cold. I wonder what it will be like tomorrow for Band.

Last Fall Break
Woo-Hoo (?)
I'm glad I'm not going to have to wake up super early to go to school for the next four days. That's kind of awesome.
This morning I got up at 7 because I didn't want to get out of my really warm bed. So I got to school like a minute after the bell rang.
I don't really remember what I did today in Journalism. I know Angie was doing a great job helping out writers. She pretty much was doing what I was supposed to be doing. Yay Angie. I was updating the story list with Jasmyn though, and I have to edit everyone's stories after the editors edit them.
I finally got my U.S. essay turned in. It was about Booker T. Washington and W.E.B. Du Bois. Don't worry if you don't know about them. Ugh, she needs better organizational skills. She was also reported to Ms. Bogard for apparently not enforcing the dress code. I'm sorry, but Ms. Frank is a bitch, pardon the expression, when it comes to dress code. She sends people out for anything. So whoever complained about her for this was just stupid.
I didn't do anything in English today because I had already recited some of the passage. Yay me. Some people still only did 7 lines. I did 30. Go me.
I don't know what the ICP class did today since I left early to go to music.
Writing about music, I'm proud because I was able to sing songs without Isaac or Peter being in the room. I was fine, Lerron was messing me up because he kept hitting wrong notes. I think Angel noticed that my feet stank because he was fanning air away from his face. I'm sorry. I didn't notice I had put on the same socks as yesterday; I dressed in the dark and it was effing cold this morning.
Jose made a comment about Devin (sp?) having the same hoodie Angel has. The comment was: "It comes in his size?" I thought that was both funny and rude. I don't know Devin very much, but (s)he seems pretty funny.
Okay, lunch. I definitely have something to say about this. So today was the retarded teacher day, or whatev, so people felt free to take lunch tables away. They took ours. So as soon as we got there we noticed and sat our stuff at a different table. We come back from the super-effing-long lunch line to find some ghetto girls occupying our seats. So I just grabbed another chair and sat right next to one of them. We all sat together. And they didn't much have a problem with us. At some point, they asked us to watch their seats so they could go to the lines. We did so. And we got along, we even talked politics. I thought that was kind of cool, and I felt like I needed to apologize for taking over their table. But I didn't, oh well.
Japanese was weird today. In a good way. Today was our chapter quiz with some vocabulary and a composition. It was pretty okay. I'm wondering what I got on it.
So, as soon as we decide to start on the quiz, a huge, I mean huge (40 people), group of middle-schoolers knock on our door and decide to go in and check the Japanese classroom out. Some of us showed off our talents. They seemed pretty surprised that could read what was on our papers. I showed them my homework and said something to them in Japanese. That was pretty funny. They liked it. They might go to Tech, some of them said.
Then Env. Science, aka SMOGEE. We did nothing because grades are pretty much due and we really don't have work to do.
After school much. I dropped by Ms. Jesse's classroom to return a camera and she told me The Cannon might still not be ready. I blame James and Titi.
So I went up to the music office to wait for it to be 4. Emily Green was there and she was working on the puzzle. I pitched in and helped. I don't like that puzzle. It's so confusing and not defined. Grrr.
We talked about stuff. She's nice, I like her.
Band was fun too. We are changing some of the work so as to make it prettier. Yay. It's a bit hard, but fun. I don't know, it's probably just me.
Audrey took me home! Yay. I love her. And Audrey, they took her van/truck/vehicle! I saw it pass by in front of my window. I was all "o.o" lol. IDK.
Angie, I hope it all goes well.

Disparame Dispara
Shoot me Shoot.
It's a song, don't worry. Really good, by Laura Pausini. I love it when she sings in Italian.
I forgot to mention something in yesterday's entry. So here it is: April had a project due yesterday for her Health class. She had to make some kind of 3-D creating of a tongue. It turned out pretty cute. She even used (neon) pink Play-Doh for her project. I printed out an image with the tongue's taste buds labeled in the picture so she could do that on her project. So she stuck cute little toothpicks in the right places. Then she gave me the printed sheet! Isn't that awesome!? My own little image that tells me when I can taste "sweet" the best! Ehl-oh-ehl.
It was April's idea, she wanted me to make a big deal out of it, so here it is.
Journalism was kind of wild today. Two editors were bashing on Angie because they don't like her story idea but, instead, they want to write more about hot topics. I truly think we need parts of both, and Ms. Jesse will listen more to her dear Editor-in-Chief, so I'm going to tell her that. I'm also going to ask her how to start the petition so I can start working on it during Fall Break.
I wanted to take this break to finish up my homemade Christmas cards and start on V-Day. Also, I want to start applying to colleges. One of my friends in New Pal already got his acceptance letter from IU. Jealous!
Today MLK's speech was really due. I was the first one to be called upon by the teacher to recite the passage. Unfortunately, I was only able to recall 30 lines out of 57. I wasn't the worst one though; she only said four words. Tisk tisk.
I hope I have a B so far. There were about 1,000 points possible. I got 600 today, and if I do the extra credit I'll have 900. Not bad.
The ICP class was watching IMAX's T-Rex. I was so cold so I had my fake-bunny fur on me almost the whole time. And I watched the movie too. It wasn't that great, mainly because I didn't finish it. But, whatev.
Music was okay. We had Technicians and we worked on some Christmas songs. It is imperative that we practice because now Ms. H also has Fall Play and not much time with us.
I'm seriously thinking about taking my own lunch to school just because people are incredibly rude and ghetto. Black people can cut you, not pun intended, but you can't cut. What the eff?
Japanese was intense. I though. I think we have a quiz tomorrow. Shoot.
SMOGEE was annoying. I turned the lights off twice when the teacher walked out. The first time she made a comment about forgetting to turn the lights on and the second time she told us not to turn them off anymore. It was so funny.
So after school. We had a short newspaper meeting since Ms. Jesse had to leave at 3:30. I left earlier anyway to go to Techoir and work on stuff. I didn't do very much, but hey! We ended up going to German Band's small show outside of the auditorium. It was pretty fun. And they had huge pretzels too! Yum. I don't have the same feelings towards Root Beer though.
And for some reason, Steven couldn't keep his colds hand off of my neck and face. It was funny though, and he tried to pull my shirt out of my pants.
I think Yajaira likes me, and she still doesn't know I'm gay. I don't want to tell her though. I don't know, I don't want to hurt her feelings.
Band was pretty much canceled due to lack of band members showing up. I think the band did work on some music, but not much for color guard. Besides, only three of us showed up. Whatev, I worked on Japanese.
I was going to stay for Tech's Open House, but decided not to so I rode the 5:30 bus home. I arrived at around 6:40. Whatev.
My computer is dying. It turns itself off. It's scary. So I have to burn CDs with pics probably this week. What a burden.
It's okay if you don't update tonight Audrey. I love you, tee-hee. ^^v

My Apologies
For not updating in like forever. It's mainly because I don't have as much free time as I'd love to.
Let's start with Friday.
I had a field trip that day with my journalism class to Franklin College's workshops. I went to a Leadership meeting that took two hours. If you ask what I learned, the answer is simple: nothing. Everyone pretty much thought that this field trip was a waste of time. Not completely, but pretty much so. I could've taken advantage of Advanced Photoshop. But oh well. We had a good discussion on the bus about schools and stuff. Some of us are planning on starting a petition for more strict rules and more severe consequences on problematic students. It's a great idea, I think.
Friday was also our Homecoming. We lost. But it was pretty fun, I think. Kandice won Homecoming Queen! Yay!
Color Guard effed up majorly on the field. We were probably the only ones who noticed too because no else said anything. I was pretty pissed though, because we had practiced it so many times and it was our last time to shine in front of the school. I was most worried about one person.
I ended up giving Steven a nice hug. I was on the floor and he was standing on a bleacher so my head came up to his belly and he had to bend down to hug me. -sigh-
Saturday. I think that was the best day ever. Mainly because Techoir was right there with top choirs. And we showed everyone that Tech isn't mediocre, as some New Palestine students expected of us; they were the ones who sucked.
Then Into the Woods. Ms. D told me that it was not the best musical for someone's first live musical. Me! Yeah, just a small observation: pretty much all the guys were gay!
Ms. D took me home after the musical. And I finally got to meet both of her high school daughters. They are pretty funny, I think. I'd like to get to know them more. Apparently Ms. D tells them about me. That's nice :)
Sunday: Church.
Whatever. Same stuff. We watched The Happening. It was a pretty cool movie, I think. Watch it, don't buy it though, because it's not that great. Do get it for a dollar at one of those RedBox things at McDonald's.
I woke up cold this morning. So I put on my fake-fur. It was so warm!
I apparently had an essay due today in U.S. History. About what? I don't know. Random, unnecessary shit. Stupid Ms. Frank.
I have MLK's speech due tomorrow. I still don't know it. Oh well.
Japanese is still fun.
I don't know what else to say today, except that I'm still confused about Steven, I just want to ask him. In my head I do, and it all comes out the way I want it. I fear rejection, that's the thing. I want to tell him "If you like me say so. If you don't, stop acting like you do."
He grabbed my ass on Saturday, after the whole choir thing. So I don't know whether to take those as signs or not. And he winked at me today and I found him staring at me and he tried to pick me up while I was picking Joey up. I'm so confused. And I'm lousy, and scared. I don't know.
I wonder if he does like Lerron. Someone told me that Steven had said that they were just friends. Lerron knows I like Steven, and Lerron still talks to me like I don't see them both hanging around. I hope they are just friends, otherwise I will feel miserable. IDK.

New Look
Spirit Beads arrived today! We are selling them three for $2. All three school colors: red, green, and silver (white). Pretty cool, huh? Ms. Jesse let us wear them around for advertising purposes. Tomorrow is the day! I've been waiting for it, I hope we don't eff up in the middle of the show. That would just suck.
Did I mention Ms. Frank is back again? And she's still wearing them heels that she still hasn't learned to walk on? It's annoying. She also snatched my newspaper out of my friend's hands just so she could make a copy of an election article. What the eff!? She tries to be cute I guess. Stupid is more like it.
She had us reading a poem today about W.E.B. Du Bois and Booker T. Washington. Stupid. I read the section and it's so much better than her shit. I want our sub back.
In English we watched Raisin in the Sun. It's a pretty good movie, and now I want to read the book. I get tired of hearing about slavery a lot. I don't know. But I do know one thing: Martin Luther King didn't fight to have all these African Americans ruining their image. I just hate ghetto people. And seeing how most ghetto people are black. I just hate it. I don't know. It's not necessary.
Nothing much during fourth period, my peer tutor period. Kids keep messing with me, but it's fun. A cute dude calls me George. Another cute, Mexican, calls me Immigrant. It's so funny. He also calls me "she" and girl stuff. He was the one who wanted to ask me if I was gay or not, but he chickened out. No huggie from Josh in class. He's too busy reading his little Insane Clown Posse book. It's fine with me.
Then music, I walked in just in time to start singing Number 7. I pretty much sucked at that one. The others ones I was fine. I think the other basses are relying on me, and I rely on Isaac and Peter. I really shouldn't. So today I took it as a test. I managed. I did mess up though, and the other basses were right behind me too. Oh well, I know how to fix them.
Then I went down to see Ms. Jesse in the cafeteria so I could start selling the beads. I don't know how much money we made, but I saw her envelope, and it was fat! Yay for cool fundraisers!
Then Links and Penny Wars appeared too so I got stuck working both of them. Fine with me. Good thing I avoided Elijah today; he follows me everywhere. Not cool. I don't really like him much either.
Since Ms. H needed people to count money for the Pep Rally, April and I decided not to go to Japanese. I didn't realize until later that Sensei wasn't at school today and we were only going to watch Japanese anime. ^^ Pretty much Seniors won in both links and money. As they should.
Luckily, for SMOGEE people, the Pep Rally was postponed for Friday due to immaturity from stupid high school kids. Means I'll be there for my last Pep Rally!
I thought our third day at Shortridge sucked. Mainly because Ms. Sharp, the teacher, has issues, and she always wants things to be done her way. Stupid, she took ten minutes out of our lesson just to fix people around. No one likes her, and when she talks to you, she really isn't. She is looking behind you, not your eyes. It annoys me. I kind of want to go "I'm right here!" And get all up in her face.
I did see an eighth-grader that I met last year during my Junior SMOGEE. He's cool. His name is Dylan, and he's hella cute too. I wish he was in high school. He's adding me on Myspace. Again.
So on our way back to school, we SMOGEE kids talked about Ms. Sharp like it was our job! Yeah, fun!
I finally got my clothes out of my locker and wore my tennis shoes for band. My feet were still hurting, but the pain was less than with dress shoes on. Band is awesome. I think.
We had an audience during rehearsal because the Bonfire was going on almost at the same time. I saw peeps! ^^ I think I am a little in love with Emily Lucas. I realized that my Sophomore year. I love her. She's awesome and smart.
I came home and worked on Japanese homework. Yay for Japanese!

Half yet long.
I'm talking about my day.
Today's PBA really did go by fast. Unfortunately, it was still raining. It wasn't so bad though.
I took a picture of Titi, James and Tesia for the cover of the newspaper. I'm sure it's going to look great. I know Ms. Jesse was excited about it. I still have to make phone calls tomorrow morning. I'm kind of upset at myself because it's taking me so long to write a story.
Today was Liz's 16th birthday! She's growing up! She's so cute too. Happy B-Day!
I put in new contacts today. And I didn't feel anything! I think it really was the contacts. Now I just have to change the case as well.
After school, my dad picked my brother and me up. We came home and my brother stayed to do homework. I went with him downtown, Carmel, and New Pal. It was long! And I fell asleep in the car too. I did listen to Kelly though; Z99.5 My dad wants to start his own landscaping/mowing business. Those machines range from 8-12 thousand dollars though. Yeah. I don't want him to. What if we have to leave?
So we get home, at around 4:30-ish. And there's a car parked on the wrong side of the street, you know what I mean? Facing the traffic instead of facing the way the traffic is going?
Well, anyway, my dad sees this car and he parks. But he parked carefully enough so that the back of our car was almost touching the back of the other car. There were people in the car too. And they got mad. But first of all, they are using up our parking space, and second of all, they were parked illegally. So I don't want to hear about it. They were buying hallucinogens too. So hey!
I've been talking to Joey a lot. She's such a nice person. I want to her to be happy.
I'm like that with most people. Especially with Isaac, if I see Isaac sad, or upset it gets to me. And I'm with him. I don't know. I guess I just love him a lot, and I always want to see him happy.
I get jealous when Audrey doesn't talk to me. Sad when April's not there. Ignored when Angie is not being happy. So many feelings.

YouTube it. It's great. At least I think so.
April called me a few minutes ago. ^^ Third call! Ehl-oh-ehl April. She's now watching the presidential debate. So's Audrey. And probably more people too. I probably should be watching it too. But I'm not.
I should be studying for my Japanese quiz tomorrow. Which is going to be freaking long!
We learned so many vocabulary words it's not even funny.
So I arrived at Tech cold and ready for a long journalism period. To my surprise, Ms. Jesse wasn't there. So we ended up not doing anything. I had my permission slip, to go to Franklin College, ready to turn in but I still have it. I also have the Media Pass she gave me on Wednesday. I hope it's nothing bad.
I did some reading though, and talked to a few people.
I also have stuff ready for tomorrow: I'm calling different colleges to ask whether undocumented students are eligible for admission or not. Should benefit me too.
I took my U.S. History test, and as I predicted, it was easy. Most of the questions are repeated almost three times each, but every time, they are worded differently. That's kind of stupid, but it kind of helps me check my answers.
Ms. Frank might be back this Monday. But I rather her stay home and take another long break. I am actually learning stuff with a teacher who is not even licensed to teach any history.
I can't remember what we did in English today. . . Oh yeah. An essay on our personal hopes and dreams. Done. That class is pretty lame. And I hate almost everyone in there for being loud, obnoxious and irresponsible. Immature can also be used to describe them all.
I have MLK's speech due tomorrow so I'm just not going; I'm going to that meeting in the forum for Diploma Plus kids with Kick-Off Mentors as party-crashers. Kind of.
Fourth period turned out to be interesting. Three kids were this close -puts index finger and thumb almost touching- to asking me if I was gay. At least that's what I thought they were going to ask. They didn't though. No one wanted to ask me after they had called me over.
Whatever!
Music, yay. I think I was actually singing louder than I ever had during Techoir. We're also doing Patapan. ^^ Have I mentioned Number 6 sounds awesome on the CD? I hope we sound as great. I just hate the solo. I wonder who's doing it anyways. For Techoir, I mean.
Lunch! Also a word equivalent to a hectic, immature, rude, nasty, idiotic crowd. People just need to grow up and start being more responsible. I still can't stand how black people can get away with stuff just because they think they are better than everyone.
There was also a fight during my lunch. And of course, everyone rushed to see it from up close.
R-Jay was hit with a juice and it ended up spilling on his ROTC uniform.
I hate stupid people.
Japanese. Yay. -.- We all got copious amounts of homework that is due Monday. Some of that stuff is hard too, but I love it. This new textbook is more didactic than the other one was. And we read paragraphs in Japanese and answer questions about them. I love it. I want to steal some of those books so bad! I should just go to eBay and look them up. Someone told me they bought a school book for $10 on eBay.
Environmental Science challenges me every day. Stupid college-level thinking questions. Well, it is advanced. But it's still fun.
My friends Kattie and Summer have so drama going on between them. It's too much. And I don't want to get involved. I've known them both since 7th grade. I love them. But they need to handle their own problems.
Mrs. Meyer is starting her after-school Orchestra class tomorrow. I hope Ms. Brown lets me go. I don't even want to ask her though. I might just go straight to Ms. Meyer so she can talk to Ms. Brown. I don't think they have a B-H relationship. I hope not.
I want to learn how to play the violin and bass. Soprano. Bass. Tee-hee.
I love Isaac. He made me smile today. I would do anything to see him happy all the time.
Band is still fun.
I need to work on Johann Sebastian Bach's Prelude if I want to ask Ms. Brown if April and I can do it for Techoir's Spring Concert.

I Have a Dream
I have to memorize MLK's speech before Friday! For a grade! I get double points if I do it right the first time, and also, I might get ten dollars from my teachers.
It's not that hard, I already have more than half of it memorized, but it is time-consuming.
I just got done checking Facebook. I read Steven's note. I think he needs a big hug. That's what I'll give him tomorrow morning. Along with a short note. I sympathize with him because this is pretty much how I feel most of the time. I didn't want to put a comment on his note though, because he's already got advice, and it's good advice. I'll just what I'm planning on doing tomorrow. I do hope he understands me. And I hope I don't chicken out either.
I feel bad today, because he went up to me while I was talking to someone else, and I kind of ignored him. And then he left. I should've done something. Hugged him. I don't know. I feel like a bad friend.
On to a more cheery subject, kind of.
Since I'm working on an "Illegal Immigration at Tech" story, I need to research immigration laws, citizenship procedures and stuff like that. It's going to be a big story and it might not be ready for this upcoming issue. So it kind of sucks, I do have a "List of Clubs" that I put together. It might not have my name, but deep down I'll know it was I who made it!
The Cannon might gather on Oct. 7th to celebrate our hard work.
Ms. Jesse used the title "Editor in Chief" for me! That's my new title!

I don't think I got a single hug today from Josh. It's okay though. I don't want him to get sick of me. I did help a lot though, and I was helping in both English and Spanish, so my brain was all "quat?" Think about it.
Music was okay, I used this time to be all up on Joey's neck. It just smelled so good. I just don't think the boyfriend appreciated me being all over her. I might see his reaction tomorrow during Techoir.
Tomorrow! Techoir! Announcing of the musical! Yay!
Japanese-much. Sensei was talking to us about the toilets they use in Japan; you have to squat on the ground to get "stuff" in there. And there is no toilet paper, instead, there's a jet of water going at like 100 mph up your you-know-what. Not really that fast, but you get my drift. The class thought it was funny. The class, of course, consisting of only four people. We're awesome though.
Science, again, working on test questions.
Band was okie-dokie. We worked on charts. I just hope we can work on the drill tomorrow so the color guard can show off!
I love seeing my "mentee" Every time he sees me he has on this radiant smile, and he brings up his right arm to salute me from far away. It's cute. He's cute. He's a sophomore. From El Salvador. Guillermo Garcia. I love his hair. He has a fo-hawk.
Also, today I finally finished Dean Koontz's One Door Away From Heaven. I really enjoyed it!
Now I'm going to read A Lesson Before Dying by Ernest J. Gainese. It's also from Oprah's Book Club.
Message to Steven: I love you.

[Insert Title Here]
I woke up at 5:40 this morning and "worked out" a little bit. It didn't work because I was sleepy and as soon as I got on my carpet I took a short nap. Tee-hee. I did do 50 crunches and 20 push-ups though! Then I got dressed and was ready to go at about 6:25. We didn't leave until 7:10 though, because my dad started his new job and he doesn't need to be there until 8. So that means I eat breakfast at home now.
The Cannon arrived today! Actually, Ms. Jesse picked themit up and had me go fetch it from her car. I think we got 500 copies. I really don't think those are enough copies. But then again, not the whole school reads the paper and people can share.
We saved about 80 dollars by doing the folding ourselves which turned out pretty well because all students helped out and we were done in about 10 minutes and we had time to plan out questions for the next issue. Our deadline is October 7th!
4th period was "Weee" This is when I am a peer tutor and get to sit down. Actually, I help two ENL students with their tests and work. And I get to see Josh too. He said he was hungry so I gave him a lollipop. He told me he was going to think about me while he ate it. o.o
Freak-girl was all "O.O" at me today. She doesn't get the fact that I don't like vajayjays. On the other hand, I do like the attention.
Then Music. I was feeling pretty down during that time. I really don't know why. But I'm glad my friends noticed and were asking me what was wrong. I just needed a hug. Thanks Audrey!
Then we reviewed some old songs. I think we should really do Footlose. It's a cool song. And the ending is awesome.
Ms. D liked The Cannon as well. She kept it over lunch and let Ms. H borrow it too. They both like it.
Sensei wasn't at school today so we got to watch Porko Rosso. Meh. I don't remember what I was doing the whole time though. Oh yeah, looking through Shaquelle's manga-looking drawings. She can draw. I told her she should make a Yaoi (Manga about gay boys with explicit scenes). She said not yet.
Then Advanced Env. Science. We worked on definitions and now we are reviewing for a test. I hope I do well. I also got my Interim grades; all As and a C. Oh well.
My teacher gave us all notebooks that she obtained from Teacher's Treasures. Sensei does that too.
After school I had nothing to do until four so I went up to the music hall and worked on some homework.
Ms. H asked me to go get her a Snickers bar from the vending machine in the custodian's "hang-out spot" I knocked on the door and this lady opened it and then she saw I was a student and asked me what I wanted. So I told her that I was getting a Snickers bar for Ms. H. The B told me to tell Ms. H that she was going to have to go get it herself so I backed up, pulled out my cell phone and asked her if she wanted me to call Ms. H so she could tell her so herself. She said nevermind and let me go in. That's right B. Don't mess with Ms. H.
I told my story to Ms. H and Ms. D. They were all "dang!" about it.
Since Ms. H had given me enough money to also buy myself a Snickers bar, I bought two. But I told her she could keep it in her fridge because of the custodians. She wanted me to keep it, but she was behind her desk, and her fridge is by the door. So I just stuck the Snickers bar in her fridge and told her no. She loved me. I think.
She also wants me to get a Mariachi band for Arts on the Green. Cool, huh?
Then Band! ^^ We worked on awesome stuff. And we are so much better with real flags than swing flags. I think it's because we had to flags and they kept sticking to each other.
We warmed up a little. And I can still feel my "abs" twitching a little. Yay!
Tomorrow rehearsal until 7. She said if we did well, we could leave earlier. I hope so! I'm taking my jug of water this time. And some clothes that I am comfortable getting dirty.
I got home at 7 and ate. I just got done with my English project but I still need to glue on some words. Easy. I do need to memorize Martin Luther King's "I Have a Dream" speech though. That is like 1,000 points. Double if we do it right the first time. I already have the first paragraph done.
No Steven-enjoying for me today. Maybe tomorrow. I'll take my vest and take pictures with him.

Random Fun Stuff
I think I loved fourth period the best today.
Much attention was paid to my ass by a few girls and Josh. It was pretty funny at first, but then -I am self consious- I started covering it up.
There is a girl in that class who thinks I am the hottest thing she's seen on this planet. So she and these other two girls kept calling me and after a while they started dropping their pencils on the floor and asking me to pick them up. It took me a while to realize that they just wanted me to bend over and see my rear end. Even Josh asked me to turn around in place to take a look at it.
So this girls know about my sexual preferences, and when the dang-you're-hot girl saw me hugging Josh, she called him a Son of a you-know-what. Just playing, though, but a little too far. I do love Josh though. I don't think he knows how much I do though.
There are also two boys in that class who mess with me when I pass out folders. One of them is cute, the other one is just hell-no-biotch.
Josh was wearing a green polo today O.O He looks good in color.
Baby pictures are cute. Especially when they are crying.
Lunch was meh. I always act like a ghetto little biotch during lunch. It's funny. Sometimes.
Japanese is getting better. We can actually ask and answer questions about school, life, and more random fun stuff. I want to go to Japan sometime.
Today I ran The Cannon's meeting. It went pretty well, until everyone decided to leave after stories were assigned to them. Turns out we will be receiving the paper Friday morning and we will do the folding ourselves. I just want a copy! I hope it looks great.
Then some random boy tried to go in the room and eat our Oreos. Effer. We were fin to cut him too. Shooo.
Band was a mess. So many people are quitting that Baldwin has to rewrite the whole thing probably. It sucks. Oh well. Maybe we could try to incorporate the Color Guard with the Band shapes. But then again. We'll have 6 ft. poles spinning around. Yeah, maybe not the greatest idea.

Oh em gee - Hectic Days
That's also my status on Facebook.
I meant to add an entry yesterday but I got involved in something else so I didn't do it.
Pretty much I was called a heartbreaker by a girl who thought I liked her. She is nice and she also seems smart, but she did kind of hurt my feelings when she said that; mainly because it really wasn't the first time I've been called that.
I don't think highly of myself so when she started preaching about my sexyness and handsomeness I pretty much turned red. Even though you couldn't have possibly seen it.
The only funny things I remember from yesterday are me taking pictures of April being cute and Dixie writing random bullshit on her Environmental Science questionaire.
Today was pretty hectic, I thought. After school mainly. But I'll get to that in a second.
Mentoring is quite okay. I don't have problems with my freshmen; I pretty much only have one so it's fine. He wants to join the school soccer team and I promised him I would talk to Mr. Arnold about it. Whoops. I forgot.
Journalism was filled with journalistic writing and me finishing up my stories. They seem pretty decent and they have a good flow. Not too bad.
We took a test today in U.S. History. I think I did pretty good. Some of the questions were repeated throughout the test though, so there really isn't much to worry about. Benje fell asleep.
In English we are talking about Puritans and Revolutionaries and Transcendentalists. Pretty much God-crazy people back in the 17-18 hundreds.
Peer tutoriness. I need to translate some worksheets for the two students I help. How can they take a test when they can't read the stuff in English? I don't remember what I used to do back in 6th grade.
Music was meh. I don't understand why we are doing a College-fight-song-medley. Whatever. "The milk is sqwishin' me!"
Lunch was usual. Fun stuff.
Japanese is pretty okay too. I want to learn new stuff though. Shoo.
Environmental Science. Yay. Didn't do anything. We went over the questions. Test on Friday.
After school! Wanted in three places. Well, maybe two, not sure Techoir wanted me that much!
But Key Club and The Cannon did. Two stories due today and a list of clubs. Gosh.
Then band. I didn't even get to change. Which was cool.
I'm going to start wearing hoodies to practice. Effing sun.

shows - last first
I failed to write about my two last first shows. One was a Technician show and the other a Band performance during a Football game in which Tech won!
The Technician show was pretty okay with Jesi Friedly and Greg Emmanuel obtaining the showmanship pins. Pretty cool. It was a show for primarily senior citizens. You could see they loved the songs we performed. I took a few pictures.
One special thing about this show was the fact that Ms. H could not be with us because she was going skinny-dipping with her friends in Florida.
She did agree to tell us our Musical on October 1st. She signed a contract too!
The band show was pretty okay although some people did mess up. My brother and I got to wear cool muscle shirts. People thought I looked good too which was kind of funny.
All the time I had to tuck my stomach in because I have a big belly. I did manage too though. But it hurt, and when I didn't, I looked pregnant. Kandice and Emily took pictures of me.
That was a really long day for me: until 9:30 at school. I was really tired when I got home that night at 10:30. I didn't even shower or update my blog, which is pretty much why I am doing it now.
Nevermind the fact that I have three stories due tomorrow for the newspaper. I'm slacking!

in the rain - a-marchin'
Today we marched in the rain! It was pretty awesome, or so I think. The band was also playing out there and it was like the music was made for when it rained. So beautiful.
I took advantage of the rain and messed up my hair since styling gel had previously been applied to it. I did something like a mohawk and fellow band members quickly noticed; they liked it. And I am glad.
I have been on my period for the past three days. Today was the worst ever; two long nosebleeds. They didn't stop until after about 7 minutes. They were bad. One in the morning and the other in the afternoon. Oh well.
Mrs. Newsom is pregnant again. I think she said four months. I haven't asked what she's having yet though.
Ms. H, the bilingual assistant, walked into ICP today and since she saw me helping the ENL kids she turn around and left. I thought I was going to get a break but unfortunately for me, it didn't happen.
Today I passed out surveys for newspaper about the presidental election. I hope the paper values my work because I was disrespected and ignored most of the time. But then again, it was by black ignorant kids. Not much. Obama is winning!
We got out Japanese books today. I pretty much know everything in Book 1 but some of the vocabulary. Those books are cool though, and I really want to keep all four of them. Someone told me I should look them up on eBay and buy them for cheaper.
SMOGEE is pretty okay. Doing work. I am actually paying attention to what I am doing and learning about oil usage and environmental stuff.
Tomorrow is our first Technician show. Same with the band. First performance. Take pictures might be taken!

tomorrow - scouting
Today I was supposed to interview Mrs. Bogard about the ATM/Book shortage. I got to school and asked Ms. Jesse about it since Dr. White was visiting Tech to talk to students. She called Mrs. Bogard and she rescheduled the interview for tomorrow morning. I'll be more prepared I think.
I should also interview Mr. Davidson about him running the "bank".
I actually thought Dr. White's presentation was pretty good. Somewhat, actually. I liked the fact that he showed 2 Million Minutes. That is such a great movie that motivated me to more than average.
I think Ms. H realized today that not all basses know their vocals for some songs. I have an excuse: I never learned them. Neither "Bomp" nor "We Go"
We are doing sections on Monday I think. I know Bomp a little now. Thanks to Ms. D!
Steven bit me today on my shoulder. I thought that was weird. And it hurt too! He also poked me after I told him so.
Sensei gave us the great news that the Japanese class will be able to do some calligraphy. It's pretty cool. She's just worried she might now have enough ink; she only brought one bottle from Beijing. She also went on to talk about poor countries and how most students should take yearly field trips there so they can value their lives and opportunities.
Band is getting awesomer! We are all lifting Kimberly! I am so excited, but we really need to work on our stuff if we are doing a show this coming Friday.
I'm going camping this weekend, more like hiking actually. I don't really remember exactly where. I don't know what to expect with four college students and four current Boy Scouts. It's our first hike too! I could probably put this in my Senior Scrapbook.
The girls barbershop today was awesome; I think.
Tomorrow there are three birthdays to celebrate: Kattie Wickersham, Steven Scott, and Donnell Duncan. I think they are all turning 18. That is awesome!
